§ 4-39. Zoning required.

  • The sale and/or consumption on the premises of distilled spirits, malt beverages or wine, except in a wine specialty shop, shall be permitted in C1 (Neighborhood business district), C2 (General business district), C3 (Central business district) and DCD (Design concept district). Sale of wine and beer as defined herein in a wine specialty shop shall be permitted only in the downtown development district. The manufacture and consumption of malt beverages on the premises shall be permitted by manufacturers known as microbreweries and craft breweries in the M1 zoning district and in brewpubs in the C2 and C3 zoning district. Sales and/or consumption on the premises of alcohol are specifically prohibited in any other zoning district.
